The letter

Lady Hakari Yazria sighed to herself as she hit the refresh button on her terminal, the letter was due today she just hoped it was what she hoped for. “Nope not here yet” she muttered to herself as she stood up and headed out of the small room she used as a office and entered her sleeping chambers, as she saw what was on the bed she muttered again this time a word that had Mrs Riki, the governess she had had as a child and who even now looked after her younger cousins and siblings, heard it shed of been sent to bed without supper at the very least.

Laid there on her bed, probably sent by her mother who seemed to think a sixteen year old couldn't choose her own clothes, was the most horrible, least to her, dress that Hakari had ever seen. Oh she was sure it cost more then a normal family would earn in a year, she once again cursed the fact she wasn't from a normal family. But it was pink for the Lords sake and, she shuddered it had frills, She picked it up and headed to the closet, opening the doors and walking in, she got a glint in her eye as she looked at the large collection of clothes most, unlike the dress she had just checked into a out of the way draw, chosen by her. She sighed and turned away from the rail with comfortable but casual clothing, her father had guests tonight, and going by the fact her mother had sent a dress one of these was bound to be a boy around her age, ever since her 16th birthday some months ago the main focus in her mothers life seemed to be finding Hakari a husband.

Hakari sighed as she thumbed though a rail of formal gowns each worth more then a small vehicle, she was sure some girls would love her life, love to be the heir of a Khanid house but Hakari, she wanted more, while the other girls of the family her age was reading romances, doing each others hair and dreaming of meting Mr right, she was reading military fiction and history, spending most her days in the lavish gym built into her family's estate and dreaming of doing her part to finally bring the Minmatar back into the Empire. Her mother called it foolish her father.. she wasn't sure what her father thought, but she wanted away from the family, it was that reason she had applied to the Amarr navy, hoping her family name would matter less there and she could advance on her own merits.

Hakari sighed again and looked over to doorway to her office, the response one way or another was due today, she picked a long black gown off the rail, its lines making the already tall girl seem even taller and headed to her changing room, pressing the button on the dresser to call her maid, a Matari slave about her age, she sat and endured while the girl did her hair and make up, as she was pulling on the last part of her outfit, a pair of elegant black heels, she heard the terminal in her office beep, pushing the slave away she headed towards her office as fast as the, in her opinion ridiculous, heels would let her.

Eager Ensign

Ensign Lady Hakari Yazria heir to the Yazria family, or Hakari if you didn't wish to annoy her, looked around her quarters at TES Amarria, the Imperial Academy's primary training centre for new officers. She had spent the last three years of her young life in these walls but now finally she had graduated, as Valedictorian no less. She sighed to herself as she thought about this, once again debating weather she should of enlisted under a assumed name, what some once called the old boy's network was still around, and even in the Empire rather then her native Kingdom she could never be sure if it was her or her name that people rewarded.

She smiled as she brushed a hand against the new socket on her neck, one of a series descending down her back, at least her class position, however it was earned, had allowed her to choose her assignment. She suspected her family would be disappointed in her, but shed chosen, and been accepted for, Capsuleer training and to be seconded to the 24ic, the outfit commonly known as “The Milita” and the one most involved in the fight against the Matari Tribal hordes. She took one last look around, then gathering up the single duffel she had, unlike most her family she was never much of a pack rat, she left the quarters that had been her home for three years and headed onward to her new life.

Intro

Hello, This is first time I've done something like this but I thought I'd write a blog about the OC I am trying RP in Eve Online with.

My writing style varys a lot, so some of these will be story like some more log like, and some will be 1st person some 3rd. And they will be in no order other then the one I wrote them.

I will try to make them enjoyable to read and would welcome advice. Whereas everything from before she became a capsuleer will be my imagination, most posts will be based on RP experiences in EvE, I'm as in the dark how this will go as you are.

Thanks for your interest and I hope you enjoy it.
